Nestled up in the foothills, the Descanso Gardens is a beautiful botanical garden to spend some quiet time in. The 160-acre area, located near the 2 and 210 freeways, is a great place to take a nature walk, observe and admire various plants, and listen to the calming sounds of running water. There are also events held at the location including dinners, festivals, yoga, among others.

A gift shop and simple café are also on the grounds.

Admission fees are as follows:

General: $9

Students/Seniors 65+: $6

Children (5 to 12 years old): $4

Members and children under 5 years old: Free
