Boise Fry Company is a local restaurant in Boise that serves mouthwatering, quality beef, bison and vegan burgers.
On the company’s website, it states that its mission is “to serve you with the most incredible fries, burgers, and service a company can offer!” I’d say it definitely fulfills its goal.
The day I dinned at Boise Fry Company, I chose to go to the location in the downtown area. (On a side note, the downtown location is so close to the Idaho State Capitol that you can see it clearly right outside the restaurant.)
I opted to order a bison burger since they’re not as easy to come by as beef burgers, along with fries, and everything was cooked to perfection.
As I work on being more mindful about the food I eat and where it comes from, I was happy to learn that this place sources its meat from local, fresh, natural and grass-fed animals. For its vegan burgers, they’re made with black bean and organic, fair-trade quinoa. What’s incredible is that the prices for these high-quality burgers are very reasonable – all under $9.
On top of good burgers, French fries here are fried in natural GMO-free sunflower oil. They’re made from potatoes that come from a place called Buhl, Idaho, located about 120 miles southeast of Boise. The fries are unsalted and you can pick from a variety of Boise Fry Company’s homemade seasonings and sauces to add some flavor to your fries.
You can really taste the quality of the food at this local spot. And in addition to the food, BFC also has house sodas you can order!
On top of that, the environment of the restaurant is very hip and casual: there are tables and chairs, but there are also sofas! It’s a great spot to enjoy good food and just hang out with friends. Service is also friendly and helpful.
