Had breakfast at Paillard with one of my dormmates, a Japanese girl. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to hang out with her much after this breakfast ๐ But I fell in love with this place! Got some pastries & a macchiato for breakfast ๐
Signed up for a hostel activity to Montmorency Falls.
That’s 450 steps to get down to the falls.
Bridge at Montmorency Falls.
Beautiful Montmorency Falls!
Climbing down, down, down, down, down…
Looking up at the steps descended so far. Phew!
Soaked from the falls! What an immense amount of water pressure!
Had some poutine to replenish the calories we lost after climbing up and down those stairs. (To my disappointment, these weren’t as good as the ones I had in Toronto. The cheese curds weren’t as squeaky, either.)
Was I really in Quebec?! It felt like I was in a fairy tale!
More fairytale-looking buildings
This reminds me of a colorful and less hilly San Francisco.
Graffiti in Quebec. Lol.
“Exit”
Construction going on.
Random street photo.
Another random street photo.
And another random street photo.
Had a savory crepe w/spinach and mushrooms for dinner. Shared it with a lady I met on the way to Montmorency Falls. Makiko is German and speaks Japanese, English, and French in addition to German! Her parents are Japanese and she really looks Asian, but when she speaks she’s got a German accent.
(I was so impressed with Makiko’s ability to speak four languages. So impressed. She said she’s not perfect at every single language, but she’s fluent enough to communicate with people who speak the languages she speaks. And if she makes a mistake, she said the person/people with whom she converses will probably correct her.)
I dont know but airplane gives me a weird but exciting feeling! Do you feel the same way too? I cant wait for your next post! Thank you so much for your reply! Cheers! ๐

Hi! Thanks so much!
Haha, I donโt know if thereโs a cure to travel bug bites, but maybe thatโs a good thing ๐
I actually love going on airplanes: nothing beats the feeling of taking off and landing.
Thanks for sharing your blog! Looking forward to your posts ๐
